Elijah Craig Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Elijah Craig is a real Small Batch premium Bourbon, and has been since the phrase was coined. The brand bears the name of Rev. Elijah Craig, the Baptist preacher popularly regarded as the "Father of Bourbon," and is made entirely from a dumping of 100 barrels or less. When he placed his wares in barrels that had been burnt in a fire, he found the way of manufacturing real Kentucky Bourbon. Elijah Craig is well-known; in 2001, Whisky Magazine named it "Best of the Best Bourbon," and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition awarded it a Double Gold Medal. "Rich, full-bodied, and warming with sweet oak, caramel, and rye flavors; thick finish with notes of licorice and vanilla," writes whisky expert Stuart MacLean Ramsay.
