The Cattier family, producers of Montagne de Reims champagne in their eleventh generation, is known for its classic Armand de Brignac Gold Brut tête de cuvée.
The blend of three vintages—2009, 2010 and 2012—contains 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier, reflecting the rich traditions of mixing in Champagne.
Peach, apricot, and red berries are tasted together with crystallized citrus, orange flower, and brioche notes in the Armand de Brignac Gold Brut. Cherry, exotic fruits, and a hint of lemon, vanilla, and honey are all there on the palate in abundance. Due to the special Armand de Brignac dose, which is aged for a year in French oak barrels, the tongue feel is soft and creamy with a trace of toastiness.
